Paper Preparation

You are invited to submit an Extended Abstract of 3-4 pages (in English only) according to the template.
The size of a Camera Ready Paper has to be 4-6 pages.   For each additional page the author will be required to pay extra fee. 

Format of the conference will be virtual.

Each main author is allowed to submit max. 2 additional papers. However, the author can be mentioned as a co-author in other submissions.

Suggested Frame of the Paper:

  • State of the art (shortly). Clearly indicate the problem’s importance and existing approaches for its solving. Formulate main goal (objectives) of your research.
  • Outline your solution. How did you do it? Bring out what is unique in your method and/or approach.
  • Describe advantages and disadvantages of your method and/or approach.
  • Present results of the experimental research (shortly) to verify the proposed method and/or approach.
  • Conclude what main outcomes achieved, and mention the future work.

A submission implies willingness to register and present the work if the paper is accepted for presentation at the Symposium.

INDEXING

Conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other abstracting and indexing (A&I) databases. All A&I providers can be found here and include amongst others Scopus and Web of Science.

PRIVACY

IEEE policy and professional ethics requires that referees treat the contents of papers under review as privileged information not to be disclosed to others before publication. It is expected that no one with access to a paper under review will make any inappropriate use of the special knowledge which that access provides. This applies to anyone else who is authorized to handle submissions.


ORAL (ONLINE) PRESENTATION


Oral (online) presentation should take not more than 15 minutes which will be followed by the Q&A (around 3 minutes). In addition you are kindly asked to be present the whole session online. For preparing your oral presentation, please use the MS PowerPoint template.

You will be asked to switch on your camera and share your screen in order to show your presentation. Please use MS PowerPoint, or PDF documents. You can upload your slides (.ppt, pptx, or .pdf format) using EasyChair by 21th of September in case you expect to meet some difficulties during the presentation.  

In case of no-show, your paper will be excluded from the IEEE Xplore publications.


VIDEO PRESENTATION*


You are kindly asked to record a video of your presentation, explaining your research and limited by 2-3 minutes,  and upload your video-file (mov, mp4, mpg,  webm, wmv  format, not larger than 100 MB) using EasyChair by 15th of September.

For preparing your presentation please use the MS PowerPoint template. In the video, you can show your slides, record the demos and so on. Please make sure that you are visible as well in the recorded video as a presenter.

Your video will be published on our Conference portal and only participants will have access to it. Please note, that you should be present during the Poster and Video Discussions session to discuss your paper(s). Session Chair will guide you.
In case of no-show, your paper will be excluded from the IEEE Xplore publications.

*Authors of selected posters (about 25 %) are asked to prepare the video presentation. The selection will be made by OrgCom based on evaluation of reviewers and a quality of the paper.


POSTER PRESENTATION


Please prepare a poster based on the MS PowerPoint template .  Please upload your poster (.ppt, pptx  or .pdf format) using EasyChair by 15th of September
Every participant can get familiar with your poster in advance and will be able to discuss your paper with you during the Poster & Video Discussion session. Please make sure to be present during this session.

In case of no-show, your paper will be excluded from the IEEE Xplore publications.
