Special Stream on Advanced Project Management

Global Challenges and Crises demand from Project Managers to develop more resilient ways to conduct projects. Two major trends amplify this need: climate change and digital transformation. Sustainability has been one of the most researched topics with respect to both trends, including responsible and resilient project management, too. The two most prominent professional associations, International Project Management Association (IPMA) and Project Management Institute (PMI) have organized workshops and conferences around these issues. Furthermore, project management training and education puts a focus to these topics. Agile principles have been introduced to increase effectiveness of projects. They can also be applied to Digital Transformation projects. Responding to change - over following a plan - has never been so appreciated as now. The Special Stream on Advanced Project Management is a forum for presentation and discussion of the latest research findings in this field.
