3rd WS on Cyber Physical Systems and Internet of Things Dependability (CyberIoT2019)

Background

Internet of Things (IoT) and cyber physical systems (CPS) are close modern concepts and meta-technologies which become more and more important and challengeable for critical domains such as nuclear power stations and smart energy grids, automotive systems and intellectual transport, drone fleets and health systems, etc. Criticality of such applications is explained by high value of the failures caused by hardware and software faults and cyber attacks on vulnerabilities of embedded and mobile systems and communication. There are not established techniques for assessment and assurance of dependability, safety and security of CPS and industrial systems based on IoT and technologies of distributed (cloud, fog and dew) computing. These attributes and performance, power consumption, usability and others are contradictory characteristics. It is challenge for scientists and engineers. We would like to invite researchers, developers, system administrators, experts of different domains to discuss development and implementation techniques, methods and technologies for assessment and improving of CPS and IoT-based systems characteristics.

Main topics:

  • Methodology of dependable and resilient computing for CPS and industrial IoT systems
  • Cyber security and cyber safety analysis and assurance of IoT for industry 4.0
  • Cyber security of IoT for smart building and city
  • Big data technologies for CPS and IoT dependability
  • IoT for mobile health systems and health data processing
  • FPGA-based dependable systems and technologies for IoT
  • Dependability and security of cloud, fog and dew computing
  • Internet of Drones for ecology and accident monitoring
  • Software reliability and rejuvenation of CPS and IoT
  • Quantum and post-quantum cryptography for CPS and IoT
  • Greenware of CPS and IoT
  • Block chain technology for IoT dependability
  • Usable security and secure/safe usability of human machine interaction and systems
  • Education and training issues of CPS and IoT
